  • Algorithms of Beauty de Miléna Trivier
« Algorithms of Beauty is a letter addressed to an 18th century botanist by a 21st century filmmaker. The botanist was creating floral mosaics with fabric while the filmmaker is making mosaics of images using the algorithms of an artificial intelligence. Throughout her experiments, the filmmaker recounts the successes and failures of making her images. Inspired by the botanist, she tries to appropriate and reinvent the modes of representation that are within her reach. Algorithms of Beauty questions the limits of our gaze, through a sensitive approach to our relationship to the image, between technology and emotions.
