Born after the fall of the Wall in Agen, land of the musketeers, Xavier Bouyssou hesitated for a long time between running campsites and fulfilling his destiny as a comic strip artist. After studying fine arts in Toulouse, then at the École Saint-Luc in Brussels, he had the chance to taste both. Publishing hilarious comics on his Instagram account, he perfects his science of disguise in the summer. With Toonzie, his first book, this unconditional Carl Barks fan doesn't have to choose anymore. Ladies and gentlemen, Xavier Bouyssou is the future of comics"» instagram.xavierbouyssou

The Montreal Arts Festival (MCAF) aims to promote comics by becoming the platform of convergence, reference and meeting point between the actors and actresses of the field and their audiences.
It wants to increase the place of comics in the cultural universe, while becoming a crossroads between Europe and America in its capacity as a professional, bilingual and unifying organization.
