The 9th edition of the Festival Courts d'un soir will take place from April 4th to 11th. Court d’un soir is the first Montrealer Festival to showcase talent from the short film, series and music video worlds all within the same festival. The aim is to offer opportunities for the short format, not just short films.
For almost a decade now, the festival has been offering a magnificent showcase for productions from French-speaking Belgium.
- On Sunday April 8th at 6pm, you can enjoy 5 Belgian French-language short films from the Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur (FIFF) and a selection of music videos from the VKRS festival.
- Three short films and a short series will be presented in official competition
- Supported by the Bureau International Jeunesse, four directors will be coming to Montreal to present their films: Gillie Cinneri for Aimé; Hippolyte Leibovici for Beyond the sea; Basile Vuillemin for Les silencieux; and Manon Henry for the Alien Kermesse series.
