Anna, ces trains qui foncent sur moi by Steve Gagnon
A group of long-time friends from the same political party meet like every year for a weekend in the country at the home of Daria and Stéphane, the country's outgoing Prime Minister. Anna, a writer, and Stéphane’s sister is married to Yvan, the next party leader. A few years earlier, Anna had a passionate love affair with Alexis, a deputy of the same party, from whom she had a daughter, Nina, whom Yvan passes off as his own. At once a comedy of manners, a political satire, a romantic drama and a detective story, this is a great show, in every sense of the word, exceptional as much for its size and the scope of its cast as for the richness and beauty of the whole. The abundant, lyrical but natural language of Steve Gagnon's dialogue and the impetuous and nuanced acting of the performers unfold in a poetic and sumptuous setting, all orchestrated with vigor and fluidity by director Vincent Goethals.

Compagnie FACT

FACT company
In 2014, Jeans-Baptiste Delcourt, François Gillerot, Clément Goethals et Aurélien Labruyère got together at the end of INSAS to create La FACT. How to make different artistic worlds cohabit? How to make artists mutually enrich each other while developing individually? In response, La FACT invented common rules, missions for each of them. Little by little, the company became an ecosystem, a mode of organization where each member could work on his or her own singularity while relying on a solid structure. A common base from which each can spring. This way of being together, which is neither a collective converging towards a common aesthetic, nor a company at the service of a single director, is meant to be supportive and liberating. In our view, the pooling of forces is an artistic and political commitment. Since its creation, La FACT has supported or accompanied more than a dozen artistic projects that have met a wide audience (performances, theater for young audiences, contemporary writing, classical works, documentary theater). Year after year, FACT has been enriched by new collaborations: artists, creators, partner venues, theaters, etc. ciefact.com

Carrefour International du Théâtre
Being both a festival and a producer, the Carrefour international de théâtre is a meeting point for artists, arts professionals, and the public. We work in close collaboration with the theatre community by being a complement and a partner in making theatre and creation thrive.Focused on theatre,
the Carrefour’s choices are surfing the flow of today’s trends in contemporary theatre. Its program can be distinguished by the quality, eclecticism and diversity of the experiences offered to the public. The aesthetics and the subjects, where circus, dance and art often interact, and the great diversity of locations where the plays are presented are other prominent qualities of the Carrefour. carrefourtheatre.qc.ca
