Nestled in the Saint-Roch and Saint-Sauveur districts of Quebec City, the second edition of theFestival CANICHES will be held from May 10 to 14, 2023.
On the program? Twenty artists from the fields of literature, visual arts, performance, photography, music, dance, micro-residency, master classes and artists' discussions will be convened in a multidisciplinary poetic perspective during these exciting days of encounters and sharing, which will energize the heart of the city during 14 appointments over four days!
Activities will be held from morning to night at the Maison pour la danse, the Pantoum, the Espace 400e, the Criterium gallery, the Lieu, the Centre de diffusion et de production de la photographie VU and the Centre Frédéric Back.
Within this dynamic framework, the Quebec and Brussels poetry scenes will meet Mai 13 mai at thea Maison pour la danse. Thanks to the support of Bureau international Jeunesse (Le BIJ), Perrine Estienne and Bastien Hauser from the non-profit association Et Caetera, and Elise Comte will participate in an evening of performance and open mic during which Quebecers will publicly present the performance of an original textl.
