Each year, the Société pour l’avancement de la chanson d’expression française ffers francophone artists the opportunity to perform at Place des Arts during the “Week-ends de la chanson Québecor.” From April to June, come and discover the emerging talents of francophone music on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
This year, singer JOFROI will perform in the magnificent Salle Claude-Léveillée at Place des Arts in Montreal on Friday, June 2 at 8 pm at the Salle Claude Léveillée.
He will proudly present his new show Et ton rire un oiseau. « In a whirlwind of little things that make a big hole, he also becomes a storyteller between each song… And it is life the bubbles up, that questions us, that amuses us and the capsized us.” Enough to delight us!

Biography
For fifty years,Jofroihas been singing. From his native Belgium to his haven in the Gard region of Cabiac, from Montreal to Reunion, from Dakar to Paris, Jofroi sows the words of a French language that he handles like no other. He sings about love. The love of nature, the love of life, the love of people, the love of everything. He also scolds, sometimes, with his warm and deep voice. Against injustice, indifference, resignation, and stupid complacency. More than ever committed to a more human and welcoming world, Jofroi sows little pebbles of brotherhood everywhere. The "Société pour l’avancement de la chanson d’expression française" (SACEF) ffers francophone artists and producers the opportunity to perform at Place des Arts, in the intimate and prestigious Salle Claude-Léveillée. Each year, more than a hundred singers benefit from professional logistics and support (media publicity, technical support, ticketing) at a reasonable cost, in collaboration with Place des Arts and Québécor.
